L'Ungheria ha dichiarato di aver firmato un accordo con il colosso energetico russo Gazprom per 5,8 miliardi di metri cubi di gas naturale extra. La capacità relativa di stoccaggio del gas in Ungheria è la quarta più alta tra gli stati membri dell'Unione Europea, secondo i dati del 28 agosto dalla piattaforma europea Aggregated Gas Storage Inventory, scrive il quotidiano economico Világgazdaság.
Lo sviluppo del mercato ungherese del gas naturale negli ultimi anni è dovuto principalmente ai miglioramenti infrastrutturali e normativi, e la liquidità e la competitività del commercio ungherese è aumentata in modo significativo, ha dichiarato Pál Ságvári, vice presidente dell'agenzia ungherese di regolamentazione dell'energia e dei servizi pubblici (MEKH).
